How we increased the conversion rate by +56% for Jalo Helsinki's online store.

Jalo Helsinki is a Finnish design brand that manufactures beautiful and high-quality fire safety products for homes around the world.


Their online store was visually stylish and on-brand, but sales were not meeting their potential. The challenge was clear: how to improve conversion rates while maintaining the minimalist and premium look that is vital to the brand?


Goals

The main goal of the project was to increase the conversion rate of the online store, so that, for example, advertising campaigns abroad would be more productive. At the same time, SEO fixes were made to the pages and new product support pages were created to ensure that the customer experience remained excellent even after the purchase.


During initial analysis, we noticed that mobile users in particular were not converting into buyers and shopping cart abandonment rates were particularly high.


The pages looked good, but they didn't create enough desire to buy for visitors. The trust elements were also missing, so foreign visitors who weren't familiar with the brand didn't buy. We wanted to address these issues with page changes.

We added trust elements to product pages, more UGC-style images, reviews, improved copywriting, and redesigned the presentation of features to make them easier to scan.

Reform

When revamping the front pages, we focused on trust elements (awards, certificates), highlighting reviews, and easy navigation so that visitors end up on product pages.

Improvements

The previous pages were visually impressive, but the red body text and gray buttons, for example, were not conducive to conversion rates. We improved the design of the entire online store with visitors in mind.
